You’re at the right place.
We understand the hassle that travelling entails. But C’mon! It is an experience that you wouldn’t want to miss just because you have to go through the entire process of planning, packing and travelling.
So here are some tips and tricks that I always follow when I choose my destination to travel. Get your pen and notebook ready!
Consider your Interest:
Narrow down the destinations by making a list of your interests. What do you want to do on your vacation? What will be your prime focus on the trip? What activities would you want to include in your vacation:
Physical activities like yoga, trekking, hiking. Cultural activities like museums, art gallery and theatre or would you want to go to a spa, relaxing long weekend.
What are your current needs?
Factor your current needs and your current life situation. What do you want out of this vacation? Do you need a break from your daily life? Are you in search of peace and solace do you just want to relax and have fun?
Evaluating finances and time:
We are all in a time crunch due to our work schedule. To evaluate the time and capital you are willing to spend on your vacation. Given all these aspects certain destinations will be more feasible than the others. Determine your budget and Research on the cost of living.

Consider the season you are travelling in:
Travelling is not merely visiting a new place. It is also about experiencing a new culture, meeting new people and food. If you wish to do that, take special events to account. For example New Years in Times Square, New York. If you wish to visit New York in the holiday season you wouldn’t want to miss that.

Research:
This is the most important part of the entire planning process. You must do our research and do it well. If you found a place you haven’t heard of can’t pronounce but found cheap flights. Google the hell out of it, check if the place is safe and leave!
Avoid Stereotypes:
Explore the unexplored! It is always fun to walk on the road not taken. Trust me! It will be a new experience and you wouldn’t regret it. Personally, I always consider the underdog or the “second city” the one we do not hear of much.
Transport:
Consider the time in transportation and your mode of transportation. Working out the mode of transportation can be quite important. It makes the job much easier and seems a little more chalked out. You can always check out Expedia, Thomas Cook , Cox and kings and Orbitz for discounts.

Consider safety and convenience:
Whether you are with your family, friends or solo you must always research on the safety and convenience of the place you are travelling to. Research on the place and people you are going to. Google can always help you with that. If you know someone who has travelled you may ask them for recommendations too.
Consider your travel company:
If you are travelling with someone you must always consider their interests and need. You wouldn’t want any hassle and fuss on your trip so always consider what they are looking forward too. For example: If you are travelling with kids always spare a day for some recreational activities that you can enjoy with them.
Always trust your instinct:
If you want to, then go for it. Your gut will always direct you to do the right thing. So do not be afraid to take the leap of faith. Go see the place you wish to have a great time there.

Ask yourself the question as to why do you want to visit the place. Chalk down a small itinerary so you know what you would be doing.
